By submitting payment, vendors agree to kindly commit to
the following:
Supplying all essential items such as signs, tents, and weights for tents (as the city of Frederick doesn’t allow us to secure tents by staking them to the ground or flower beds). You will have a 10x10 foot space. We ask that you furnish your own tables, chairs, and all equipment needed for a self-sustained booth.
Vendors agree to stay until 4 PM.
** No alcoholic beverages or Marijuana may be distributed by vendors.
Vendors agree to allow us to use the pictures you supplied with your application for advertising this event.
Food vendors (non-cottage) must obtain and carry adequate fire, theft, casualty, and all other insurance required for any loss to Vendor’s merchandise and other property arising from any cause relating to N.L. McLaughlin Enterprises LLC including fire, theft, burglary, shoplifting or any other causes and liability insurance to cover any claims which may arise.
Food vendors (non-cottage) must include your certificate of insurance with the following added to additional insured:*

Vendors agree to defend, indemnify and hold N.L. McLaughlin Enterprises LLC, its employees and officials harmless from any claims, demands, actions or causes of action, including reasonable attorney fees and expenses arising out of any act or omission on the part of the vendor, or its subcontractors, partners or independent contractors or any of their agents or employees in the performance of or with relation to any of the work or services to be performed or furnished by the vendor or the subcontractors, partners or independent contractors or any of their agents or employees under the agreement.
Organizer N.L. McLaughlin Enterprises LLC is not responsible for personal injury or any items damaged or stolen during the duration of the event (including move-in, move-out, and the hours of the event). It is the responsibility of each vendor to transport their belongings and to not leave valuables unattended. The organizer is not responsible for your belongings.
We offer a full refund for cancellations until October 20. Starting on October 21, there will be no refund or credit transfer for cancelations.
Our event is rain or shine. However, in case of severe weather or if the event must be cancelled for any reasons out of organizer's control, we will attempt to reschedule the event. If you cannot attend the new rescheduled date, we can credit you for one of our future events of your choice. There will be no refunds, as we already made a significant investment into the venue, advertising, etc. Please rest assured that your payment will not go to waste. We are committed to ensuring that you receive the full value of your investment with us. Thank you for choosing our market. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with an unforgettable experience. We will also send the set up information 1-2 weeks prior to our event.

Young entrepreneur vendors
The business must be run by the child (children) and they must be 18 years old or younger to qualify for the reduced rate.
Handmade vendors
Handmade items include items that are handmade or designed by you, e.g., 3D printed toys, shirts, or jewelry that are designed by you.
Cottage food vendors
Foods allowed to be produced for sale by a Cottage Food Business:
- Non-potentially hazardous/non-perishable baked goods, such as bagels, pastries, brownies, cookies, breads, cakes, pies, sourdough breads, etc. made without potentially hazardous toppings or fillings;
- Hot filled high-acid fruit jams, jellies, preserves, and butters made only with fruits with a natural pH of 4.6 pH or less;
- Hard candy;
- Chocolate confections made from commercially manufactured chocolate (e.g., chocolate covered pretzels);
- Repackaged commercial ingredients (such as tea blends, spice/seasoning blends);
- Snack mixes from commercial sources (such as cereal, granola, and trail mixes);
- Non-potentially hazardous snacks (such as popcorn balls, kettle corn, popcorn, and nuts);
- Whole roasted coffee beans
No. By law, the owner of a cottage food business may sell only cottage food products made in their home kitchen and stored on the premises of the business without needing a food license. If other non-cottage food items or potentially-hazardous items are offered or made, a food license is required, and all food production and storage would need to occur in a commercial kitchen.
